Trade Winds Aviation Services has been awarded as the top client by the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel- JKIA.
The Company’s Managing Director John Ogutu Omondi said he was proud to receive the award from Mr Vivek Mathur, General Manger Four Points by Sheraton –JKIA.
The awards come as Marriot International celebrates global customer appreciation week.
According to its Website, Trade Winds Aviation Services is the result of the merger in 2005 of two aviation service providers, thereby consolidating over five decades of combined experience in the civil aviation industry in general, and in ground handling and logistics in particular.
“Our aim was to bring together the best in the industry to create a dynamic and vibrant establishment that has now become the premier indigenous aviation services company in this region” Trade Winds says on its Website.
Trade Winds adds on its Website that over the last decade, it has built a formidable enterprise, serving both local and international markets, in the fields of ground handling, logistics and now offering specialized aviation-related careers training.
“From our operations base at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, Trade Winds has stations in Mombasa, Ukunda, Lamu, Malindi and Wajir. We are the sole ground handling provider at Ukunda, Isiolo and Kisumu International Airport, from where we also serve Eldoret International Airport” the Company said.
Currently, it has over 800 employees, making it one of the leading employers in the industry in the region.
