The Coronavirus cases in the Country have risen to seven.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced on Wednesday afternoon that three more cases have been confirmed.
“We now have seven confirmed case. All these cases are imported,” Kagwe said.
Kagwe said the first two cases related to these three are a couple that travelled from Spain on 4th March through Dubai and arrived in Kenya on March 5.
The third case is a Burundian National who had travelled from Dubai arriving on March 17.
Kagwe said he was picked by the Kenya surveillance team during routine screening at the JKIA.
Kenyans have been called upon to remain vigilant.
He said 25 testing kits have been send to each County.
The CS said KEMRI is working with Sugar Companies like Muhoroni who produce ethanol to manufacture more sanitizers.
“We will flood the market with sanitizers. The only way to reduce the price is to flood the market with sanitizers. That business will not be viable,” he said.
