Kwanza Jubilee parliamentary candidate Nicholas Wamalwa has said his CDF members will be recruited from all the communities residing in the area.
Addressing residents at Lessos during the burial of Mark Samoei, father to politician Philemon Samoei,Wamalwa said if elected MP, he will appoint the CDF chairman from the Kikuyu community.
He said kalenjin community will also get a slot in his administration and asked the two communities to back his candidature.
“This time round every community must feel part and parcel of Kwanza. That is why I am the best candidate to take Hon.Wanyonyi into retirement “Wamalwa said.
Wamalwa will be competing with Wanyonyi who is seeking a third term in the office.
Wamalwa is an experienced journalist holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree, communication and Media and another Bachelor degree in Christian leadership and Administration.
He is also undertaking an online Master of Business Administration.
Wamalwa is fighting for the employment of youths at the local Kenya Seed and KCC as well as better working conditions of workers at the ADC farms.
He wants to present a motion in parliament which will see the number of the elderly funds go up to cater for a larger number of beneficiaries.
The youthful candidate regretted that despite affordable power connection that is available, it is in bad picture that some areas in his constituency have remained in darkness.
“We must change Kwanza to make it great again “he added.
Others competing for the seat are former Trans Nzoia minority leader Emmanuel Waswa of DAP, politicians Lobolia Edong,Christine Soita, Lwangale David and Jacob Nasong’o,who are all vying on independent tickets.
