Social media is awash with reports that Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has helped clear a huge hospital bill of Raila Odinga;s diehard fan Nuru Okanga.
“It’s a sigh of relief for Nuru Okanga after numerous unsuccessful attempts to beg for help from his political idol Raila Odinga,” read one of the messages.
The post went on to say that CS Kindiki had chipped in and cleared Nuru Okanga’s son ksh 900,000 hospital bill and promised to fly him to India for specialized treatment.
When contacted for comment, the CS handlers confirmed that indeed Kindiki had rushed to Nuru Okanga’s rescue.
However, it’s not clear what Nuru Okanga’s son is suffering from and in which hospital was he being treated.
