How well do you know your children?
This is regarding their potential, what they love, like and treasure.
To achieve this, parents must improve on communication skills with their children.
This is particularly important during this time we are experiencing global hardship occasioned by Covid-19 pandemic.
We have as a people been surprised by a lot of things we never thought existed.
As we get into the festive season, let us try knowing and understanding our children better, by spending as much time as we can with them.
This can be achieved by doing various activities together for example any physical activities they enjoy and those you deem necessary for them to know.
Take time to talk about yourself and teach them to express themselves.
This year teach them about their culture and language, their ancestors, and origins!
Do not stop there, teach them about their intellect emotions and actions, teach them about purpose and the reason for being alive in this world.
They will feel confident and appreciated by teaching them about being positive over being negative.
Let them know how you value them for being who they truly are.
True, you may be their parent or parents, but their creator intended them to live life according to purpose and so do you.
Always think of your family and do not let the busy world keep you away from showing how much you love and appreciate your family.
Happy festivities.
