A Migori Star fashion model has opened about the struggle he underwent before recording his first music ‘Proud of you ‘ which has continued to earn him fame and popularity.
In an exclusive interview with Hotnews Kenya, Shizzy, narrates how her mother, wanted him to concentrate with his Education, his life, what he dreams about in matters of music and how tiresome his journey in music industry has been.
“I used to sing since I was in primary school and by the time I went to High School, I was participating in music as a sole artist, ” he said.
Shizzy who calls himself as shankil shizzy on his Instagram and Facebook said that by time he completed his secondary education, he had sung some Songs up to the National level.
“I reached the national level when I was in form three and four respectfully, during my Education at Manyatta Boys, I composed some Songs, but my mother was against it saying that music would affect my learning activities,” he added.
He said that this would not stop him from moving on, but he learnt how to balance his school activities and singing.
“It was hard to balance between studies and music. I wanted to join KDF but my mum, a staunch SDA ruled it out in 2018, I joined Mawengo TTI, and this was the first time I went to the studio to record my song, ” he said.
Shizzy said that the first Song was produced after his friends saw his Talent and bailed him out.
“Through the support of friends, I released the first Song in 2019 after my attachment at the Sony Factory and my you tube shizzy has continued to grow,” he said.
He added that he produced the second song named ‘Napenda ‘ and he will be releasing his third video, ‘Moyo’. very soon before the end of the year.
Shizzy said that he will not allow financial constrains to prevent him from advancing hos music career.
Shizzy added said that he believes soon his music will change his life and at the same time help him support his family and the entire society.
He is also a model and a designer and has continued to rise in the recent days especially within Migori county.
