City residents will be able to report complaints and compliments about City Hall and its officers in real time once a single app which will be developed for the purpose is commissioned.
This was revealed by the County Executive Committee nominee for Digital Economy and ICT Mike Gumo.
Gumo was appearing before the County Assembly Committee on vetting.
He said once sworn into office, he will revamp the Information Communication Technology sector to ensure maximum revenue collection.
Gumo added that he will use his experience in accounting to ensure there are more revenue streams and they are also digitized.
“We are losing a lot when we collect revenue manually. Some employees pocket the revenue. We must digitize the entire revenue collection,” he said.
He added that the County workers also have low morale and that they need to be motivated.
“I will help Governor Sakaja to digitize these Barrows by networking them. We have great plans for this,” he said.
He said traffic in Nairobi will be digitally controlled and that the County will have to do away with traffic police officers at round abouts since they cause snarl ups.
