Residents of Nandi County are happy with the appointment of former Agriculture CS Felix Koskei as the Presidents Chief of Staff.
On 11TH October, President William Ruto appointed the former CS to the office.
Koskei was born in 1964 and was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries on 25 April 2013.
Latter he was nominated to serve in the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Nandi residents had complained of being left out during Cabinet appointments.
“We are happy as residents of Nandi County. This is a positon that will also put us on the National map. We are confident Koskei will do a diligent job. We laud President William Ruto for the appointment,” said Jack Kirui from Kapsabet.
Other residents who spoke to Hot News in Kapsabet Town said they feel appreciated by the President after they overwhelmingly voted for him.
