The High Court has stopped disciplinary proceedings against Magistrate Bryan Khaemba.
Justice Byram Ongaya issued the orders yesterday stopping the Chief Justice David Maraga and the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) from instituting any disciplinary action against Khaemba.
Khaemba was suspended last week after he issued anticipatory bail to Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu .
The Chief Justice said Khaemba was on leave and the matter was not listed to him.
Justice Byram Ongaya of the employment and labor relations court directed the Chief Justice to pay Khaemba half his salary as provided by the law.
The parties were advised by the court to settle the matter out of court (reach a compromise).
They have been directed to go back to court on 27th June to report on the progress.
Meanwhile, Byran Khaemba remains the Principal Magistrate, Kiambu law courts but on suspension and the Secretary General of the East African Magistrates and Judges Association.
While seeking the orders, Khaemba appeared in court with a total of 6 senior advocates led by renown City Lawyer Nelson Havi.
