The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has called off a resumption of passenger flights meeting after the details of the meeting were leaked on social media.
A source who requested anonymity said it was discovered that thousands of people who do not even work at the airport had the Zoom meeting ID and Password.
Passenger flights were grounded due to Covid-19.
Airport Manager Abel Gogo had sent out a message inviting all the Government Agencies, Concessionaires, Contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
The stakeholders were to converge for the virtual meeting on Wednesday May 13, 2010.
The meeting was meant to address public precautionary Health measures for Civil Aviation that will be adhered to once operations resumes.
The stakeholders were also set to discuss operational readiness and resumption activities.
However, at 11 am, after discovering that “strangers” were trying to join the meeting- it was called off.
If the flights resume, many Kenyans will be evacuated from India and other Countries where they had gone to seek treatment and other activities.
