The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has hiked fuel prices in the Country.
Kenyans took to social media to complain about the decision.
This is expected to lead to a rise in the cost of living even as businesses and Kenyans battle the effects of Covid-19.
Most businesses that are carried out in the night remain closed since the dawn to dusk curfew has been extended for another 2 months.
The prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene rise by Sh7.63, Sh5.75 and Sh5.41 respectively.
A litre of petrol will cost Sh122.81 in Nairobi, diesel Sh107.66, kerosene and Sh97.85.
Matatus are expected to hike the fares starting Monday.
