A network downtime caused a heavy traffic snarl up in Malaba town over the weekend.
Clearing agents blamed the network challenges for sparking off traffic pile up along the Northern Corridor in Malaba.
Trucks were parked for over 10km.
The problem started at midnight on Friday due to heavy rains that hit Western region.
The rains caused a power outage thus plunging Malaba town into total darkness.
Although the clearing process of transit goods has resumed, it’s at a snail’s snail’s pace.
