The High Court has quashed criminal proceedings against the Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu.
The Judges said “evidence underpinning the prosecution was illegally obtained”.
They said her rights to privacy were violated.
Mwilu was arrested last year and later obtained orders from the High Court stopping her prosecution.
She was accused of failing to pay stamp duty in cash transactions with Imperial Bank.
Last year, she was arrested in a dramatic event that shocked the nation.
