President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that he is not interested in any job after his term ends.
The Head of State was speaking in Ngong where he commissioned the SGR Railway Line to Suswa.
Uhuru said that his prayer is to leave behind a legacy where Kenyans will never fight against each other because of politics.
He said the Building Bridges initiative is aimed at uniting Kenyans and that Kenyans should support it. Uhuru said its not aimed at giving him any other position.
Talk has been rife that Uhuru is still young and that he should be Prime Minister once his term ends and Raila Odinga a ceremonial President.
This puts him at loggerheads with his Deputy William Ruto who has said the Building Bridges Initiative is doomed.
BBI team was formed after the disputed 2017 General Election after the handshake between Uhuru and Raila.
