Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula has said he will go to court and sue the Attorney General Kariuki Kihara and Finance CS Ukur Yattani for auctioning Kenyan Ports to Dubai -based Port World FZE.
Addressing the Media at a local Hotel, the Kenya Kwanza Principal called on the two officials to resign.
“They may ignore this statement for now. But once we take over the government in August, we will overturn everything,” he said.
On Wednesday, together with other Kenya Kwanza leaders, Wetangula accused the Uhuru administration of illegally selling the ports of Mombasa, Lamu and Kisumu, to a Dubai-based Port World FZE.
The deal was allegedly signed by Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani.
“Why would a government with less than five weeks leave office hurriedly and secretly auction the operations, development, redevelopment and management of our ports to a foreign country?” he said.
The leaders said they have evidence to support their claims and claimed the deal was signed in Mombasa during one of Raila’s Birthday parties.
