The Jubilee chairperson who oversaw the Diaspora voting bloc in 2013 and 2017 in Sweden has died of Covid-19.
According to Kenyans in Sweden, Kenneth Wamburi Munge aka Ofore died on Saturday.
He was the man responsible for marshalling resources and support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy in the Scandinavian Countries.
“Details on what he used to do- I am not very sure,” said a Kenyan living in Sweden who identified himself as Mr Gatere on a whatts app chart.
According to the ministry of Foreign affairs -4 days ago, 20 Kenyans had died of Covid-19 in the Diaspora.
5 of them in the US.
Notable figures who have died in the diaspora include the former Catholic Bishop of Meru, Silas Silvius Njiru who died on 28th April.
Njiru died in Turin at Rivoli Hospital.
He was 92.
He was buried at Consolata Missionaries Cemetery in Turin Italy.
