An NCBA bank customer has said she has lost shs 1 million mysteriously from her NCBA bank account.
The customer who calls herself @HellenBen2 took to twitter to complain about the loss.
She said the cash was mysteriously withdrawn from her account without her consent and that the Bank was reluctant to help.
On the morning of Wednesday 6th January at 8:51 am, Hellen tweeted.
“1m KSh were stolen from my @NCBABankKenya account by hack of NCBA system. @ncbacare deny responsibility & refuse to refund me. They blame ME for being hacked 😮PLs retweet to help me get their attention & refund my hard-earned money. @JohnGachora, NCBA has duty to protect our $$,” she posted.
“Good day @angienguku, we understand your concern and assure you that the safety and protection of our clientele’s funds is our top priority. We are keenly attending to this matter. ^EM” the bank tweeted.
“This is misleading. I have heard nothing from @NCBAcare or @NCBAbankkenya since a phone call yesterday in which you denied all responsibility. My emails remain unanswered. #NCBARefundmyMoney,” Hellen told the Bank.
Was also concerned… am waiting to see the complainant answered and answered fully-another twitter user complained.
“@RookieKE @AbigailArunga Its outrageous that @NCBABankKenya @ncbacare is spreading libelous allegations! That is not true. I WAS NOT HACKED. @NCBABankKenya YOU WERE HACKED. I did not share my credentials with anyone. My system is secure. How about yours? That is the big question!” Hellen told the Bank.
Just to help madam, do you have an OTP set up for your online banking? 2nd maybe scratch out your Cvv on your card & even then 1M cannot be stolen via Visa, only your daily limit. So, either way @NCBABankKenya jacked your money & evidence is your daily limit! & online daily Limit! 🤞�- another twitter user said.
By 11.45 pm on Wednesday night, Hellen’s complaint had 1,838 retweets and 1,405 likes.
