Busia prolific boxer Hassan Wanende will lead hosts Busia County challenge as the second leg of the Boxing Association of Kenya (BAK) National League punches off at the Kenya Medical Training Centre in Busia town this afternoon.
Wanende, 23, who will feature in the light welter weight category, will enter the ring with only two loses from 12 fights and 10 victories, seven of them through technical knockouts.
BAK Busia County Secretary Shaban Oumu said other boxers from Busia whom bookmakers have pitted to carry the day include Flavier Auma (flyweight), the best boxer in the country, and Silas Wandera (Bantamweight).
16 counties have sent their teams for the three day event; others to participate include Kenya champions Kenya Police, Kenya Defense Forces and Kenya Prisons.
