The much anticipated UDA elections will be held in April.
Several candidates have been criss- crossing the County with the hope of being elected.
In Nairobi, Waithaka MCA Antony Kiragu is hopeful that he will be elected the County UDA Chairman.
Ahead of the elections, Kiragu is calling on the party to hold the Delegates meeting.
During the meeting, Kiragu hopes to consolidate votes before voting day.
“We are ready for the elections. However, we are calling this meeting to prepare. UDA members from all constituencies are invited,” he said at City Hall.
He assured Party members that they are not going to postpone or cancel the elections.
The party’s move to postpone the elections to April 2024 stemmed from internal conflicts.
Some members were in favor of holding the elections in December, while others lobbied for a delay.
The interim officials have been accused of mismanagement.
