Several MCAs in Nairobi have dismissed plans to oust Governor Johnson Sakaja over incompetence.
Already, there is an impeachment motion being drafted and MCA Joel Munuve of Kariobangi North is leading the signature collection process.
However, California Ward Representative Hashim Kamau is opposed to the move.
“This impeachment is destined to fail and holds no grounds. We should accord Sakaja time to fulfill his commitment to delivering essential services to the residents of Nairobi.” Hashim said.
Those who want Sakaja ousted said he is corrupt and does not value Education after he delayed to release bursary funds to the vulnerable.
