CEC nominee for Education in Nairobi County Brian Mulama has said that Nairobi will get more special schools for PWDs.
He said he will bring partners and donors who will help build equipped special schools.
Mulama was addressing the County Assembly vetting committee.
He said PWDs are often left out in most programmes especially in the Education sector.
“Quality education is what Governor Sakaja wants City residents to get. I will ensure equitable share of bursary funds to all wards because all children deserve equal opportunities. We will build modern stadiums and equipment for young people to showcase their talents,” Mulama said.
Mulama said he will use his vast experience as an educationist to boost learning standards.
