The County Government of Nairobi will this financial year employ at least 3,000 staff.
Governor Mike Sonko yesterday announced that the new staff will be employed in order to improve service delivery.
Speaking at City Hall, the Governor said the Public Service Board which was gazetted last week will advertise the jobs in two weeks’ time.
Some of the jobs lined up for advertisement include Inspectorate officers, traffic Marshalls, nurses, Lab technicians, medical officers, fire fighters, drivers among others.
In April, Governor Mike Sonko said City Hall will give priority to volunteers and youths working in the Nairobi regeneration program.
