A fall out is looming among the Azimio affiliate Parties in Nairobi.
This has forced Richard Ngatia who wants to be the coalition flag bearer to call for unity.
Already, Makadara MP George Aladwa has hinted that if the Azimio Coalition doesn’t give Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi the ticket, Luhyas in Nairobi won’t support any other candidate.
Wanyonyi has insisted that he will be the ODM flag bearer.
Jubilee Party on the other hand, has picked on Ngatia.
On Wednesday, while on a tour of Nairobi, Ngatia asked all Azimio affiliate Parties to unite and pick him as a compromise Candidate.
He asked them to campaign for ODM leader Raila Odinga.
He said the Coalition should also ensure it wins most MCA seats in Nairobi.
He toured Kibra, Ruaraka, Mathare and Gikomba.
The President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce asked Mt Kenya voters to support Raila Odinga promising that their interests will be taken care off.
“We understand your problems as traders and that is why we are uniting under Azimio. This is to give you a lasting solution that will guarantee jobs and improved living standards,” he said.
He promised to create unemployment opportunities for the City Youths.
Ngatia also said that once he becomes the Governor, City taps will never rub dry and that there will be constant supply of water.
He was accompanied by former Kasarani MP Elizabeth Ongoro and a host of MCAs from the County Assembly of Nairobi.
