Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku and his corporate nemesis, Titus Naikuni, are headed for a fresh battle over the continued occupation of County Land by Tata Chemicals Magadi.
The Lenku- Naikuni supremacy battle that took the shape of a land rates dispute is still in court.
The Company is seeking a renewal of the lease for its 180,000 acres.
The Company has officially written to the County Government and it remains to be seen how it will react to the request.
The letter was written by Mr Naikuni and another director, Subodh Srivastav.
The lease being sought is for 180,000 acres where the lake and community land Tata Chemicals Magadi occupies.
The company has been claiming it has been making losses and that is why it has not been paying land rates.
However, Governor Lenku has always challenged them that if they have been making losses for all those years, then they should close shop and move out to another Country.
