Western Kenya FKF NEC member Bishop Tony Kweya has warned football stakeholders against forming splinter groups.
He said there is a splinter group in Western Kenya which intends to revive the defunct Kenya Football Federation (KFF) .
He said the elected FKF officials should be respected.
“We had peaceful and free elections. All the candidates were given equal opportunity to sell their agenda to the delegates whose names were made public. The electoral board did a fantastic job which saw the turn out of voters remain 100 percent. This showed us that even our opponents had a lot of confidence in the exercise, “ Kweya said.
He asked those who lost in the elections to join those who won so that they can all develop football.
Kweya added that the Federation will focus on how to source for funds and partners to nature local talents in the Country.
