Several Jubilee leaders from Trans Nzoia County have faulted the recent changes in the Party.
The party made changes in the National Management Committee.
Fatuma Shukri, Pamela Mutua and Veronica Maina have been replaced from the National Management Committee with Lucy Nyawira Macharia, Professor Marete Marangu, Walter Nyambati, Jane Nampaso and James Waweru.
The details were contained in a gazette notice by the Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu dated April 6.
Saboti aspiring MP Luke Naibei who is also the local Jubilee Chairman termed the changes illegal, unscrupulous and fraudulent.
“It’s with shock, displeasure and disbelief that the Jubilee Party is being run like a mama mboga kiosk”Naibei said in a statement on Trans Nzoia social media platforms on Saturday.
He said the changes are dictatorial
“The Jubilee party is the ruling party in Kenya and should endeavor to take lead in the democratic space as enshrined in the political parties act and the constitution “he added.
Naibei said the party failed to convene a National Delegates Conference and that the National Governing Council and the National Executive Committee were not consulted before the changes.
He said many Kenyans may quit Jubilee.
He however asked Party members in the area not to panic adding that together with the team that supports Deputy President William Ruto, they will convene a meeting and push for status quo.
