City reps from the Kenya Kwanza Coalition have vowed to eject their Minority leader and Whip whom they accused of demeaning Governor Johnson Sakaja.
The reps said the duo claimed that Sakaja has been sponsoring ODM leader Raila Odinga’s rallies in the City yet it’s not true.
Minority leader Anthony Kiragu who is Waithaka MCA and his Umoja I counterpart Mark Mugambi popularly known as Ronaldo alleged that Governor Johnson Sakaja is “in bed with ODM”
The MCAs led by Kayole Central Ward Rep Jeremiah Themendu said the accusations are false.
“Accusations by the Minority leader and Whip leveled against the Governor are simply meant to ensure the two extort the Governor” Themendu said.
Themendu and his team asked the duo to table evidence to support their claims.
They said the two should resign.
Kahawa West MCA Clement Kamaru asked the Coalition to discipline the two.
Defending the City boss, Kamaru said it’s known to all Kenyans who sponsors Raila Odinga’s meetings.
An angry Ruai MCA James Kariuki said City residents want services from their elected leaders and not empty politics.
Kariuki said the two reps should oversight the Executive and stop “petty politics”.
