Chris Gathata of Pink Roses Academy in Githunguri who scored 404 Mark’s in KCPE emerged one of the best in Kiambu county.
Naomi Njoki got 402 Mark’s.
Female candidates performed better compared to male candidates.
The best candidate in the school said that he expected 430 marks.
He thanked God for the achievement.
On the other hand, Njoki stated that the school had a conducive environment that helped her perform well.
She added that the greatest challenge was studying during the Corona pandemic.
The candidates said that they are eager to join form one and urged the government to ensure it puts in place safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid -19.
