Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to institute investigations into the sudden death of his former aide Daniel Esoko Etyang.
The Police Officer was murdered in cold blood in Ruaka, Kiambu County on November 22nd, 2019.
Speaking at his burial at Kakapel Village in Teso North, Busia County, Kabogo narrated his long journey with Etyang whom he said discharged his duties diligently for four years.
” When I became the Governor in 2013, I requested the Kiambu County Commissioner to give me two security officers, one of them happened to be the late Etyang whom I worked with from 2013 to 2017,” he said.
Kabogo added that if the late was a criminal then the County Commissioner wouldn’t have seconded him.
The former Governor challenged the clergy, telling them that he doesn’t believe that leaders are chosen by God.
He said that if God choses leaders then he wouldn’t have given us Iddi Amin and Hittler.
Kabogo challenged locals present that come 2022 he can become a compromised presidential candidate to take over the mantle from Uhuru Kenyatta.
