Kenya High school emerged the top overall school in the 2019 KCSE exams.
The school had 76 A plains.
It was followed by Kabsabet Boys with 49 , Alliance High School 48, Moi High School Kabrak 30, Alliance Girls 27, Mary Hill Girls 25, Maseno , Nairobi School and Mang’u tired at 23 .
Moi Girls High School Eldoret closed the best top ten with 21 A plains.
The top student in the 2019 KCSE results was Muruma Wabuko Tony from Kabsabet Boys who scored an A plain with 87.159 marks.
He was followed by Milka Njeri from Kenya High School.
Kabsabet Boys scooped the third position followed by Maseno school.
For students who are under 16 years of age, Kizito Sikuta from Kabarak emerged top.
He was the sixth overall student in the country.
In the special need’s category, Shamala Collins of Aquinas High School emerged overall best with an A- followed by a Hash Barasa from Namachanja High School.
While releasing the results, Education CS George Magoha said Kinyua Milka Wanjiru from Gathara Secondary school was the most improved student with a B- yet she scored 179 marks in her KCPE exam.
Magoha said female students performed better in languages.
A total of 627 students scored an A plain.
5,796 students scored an A-.
125,746 students scored a C+ and above.
There were more female candidates in 17 Counties.
