Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has praised Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko for improving health services in Naiobi.
He said Sonkos efforts have contributed immensely towards the achievement of Universal Health Coverage.
“Pumwani hospital was a place where infants died all the time but since Sonko took office, all things are now in order” Kalonzo said.
He spoke during the ground breaking ceremony for the Lunga Lunga health facility in Makadara sub-county on Friday.
He said his work has made Wiper party support him although he was elected on a Jubilee ticket.
Sonko said he is keen to improve the lives of youth in Nairobi.
He said growth and development in the City will be spurred by a healthy population.
“Focusing on health is a strategic move. A healthy nation is always a productive nation,” Sonko said.
Governor Sonko hailed Kenya Pipeline MD Hudson Adambi for initiating the Corporate Social responsibility project.
