President Uhuru Kenyatta has partially re-opened the economy.
Addressing the Nation at Harambee House, the President ordered for an end to the cessation of movement in and out of Nairobi, Mombasa, and Mandera Counties.
Uhuru warned against unnecessary upcountry movement.
He said if things get out of hand, Kenya will be forced into a full lockdown.
He said there is reasonable, level of preparedness across the Counties.
On the churches and religious institutions, the president said they must adhere to the laid down health protocols.
The President said only 100 people will be allowed in a church service which must not last more than an hour.
Sunday Schools and Madrassa’s remain closed.
However, children below 13 years and those aged 58 years and above will not be allowed to attend Church services.
Domestic flights will resume on Wednesday 15th July and International flights on the 1st of August 2020.
Political gatherings and bars remain closed.
Those to attend a burial cannot be more than 15 people.
