Kenyans on social media have chided President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handlers after a totally different picture appeared on his Huduma card.
The President and first lady Margaret Kenyatta were the first to receive the cards at Gusii stadium.
A picture of the President registering for the Huduma Namba showed he was not in a suit.
He was in a white shirt.
However, the picture used on the card is one of him clad in a suit and red necktie.
It’s not clear why the picture was swapped.
MP Nelson Koech posted on his twitter “Kwani hii Huduma unaingia na shati , inakutoa na Tie,”
NTV journalist Lindah Oguttu on twitter expressed her shock.
“Huduma Namba…..!”
@philip Koech said “A picture is taken of you in a shirt then comes out of you in a tie?”
Another social media user Annette Sudi on facebook said “God teach me how to shut my mouth!”
While emphasizing on the need to have the card, President Uhuru Kenyatta said the single identity card will see Kenyans have easy access to Government services hence reduce long queues in government offices.
