Uasin Gishu County gubernatorial aspirant Julius Bitok on Thursday sponsored one more student to join high School.
Emmanuel Kipyego, whose parents were unable to raise school fees, had his fees paid by Julius Bitok.
He joined Kaplong Boys high School.
He is the fourth student Bitok has sponsored this month.
Last week Bitok sponsored one girl from Kamagut ward, Turbo constituency.
She was also unable to raise her fees.
She joined Chebisaas girls.
On Thursday, Bitok met with pupils from A.I.C Samoei Model Primary school.
He encouraged them to work hard and promised to help them get scholarships in High School.
Bitok said he wants to ensure the less fortunate go to school.
“My heart breaks every time I see a student missing school due to lack of fees. That is why I started the Bitok Foundation. I want every child to go to school and deeply believe that this is how we are going to change the world,” he said during the tour.
