The Jubilee party in Trans Nzoia has been strengthened after several aspirants submitted their credentials for nominations.
The party had the majority of leaders in 2017 elections before some defected to UDA.
Jubilee now has Cherangany MP Joshua kuttuny, a vocal politician who is also the Deputy SG.
Also joining the fray is Senator Michael Mbito who has presented his papers to contest for Saboti parliamentary seat.
Kwanza aspiring MP Nicholas Wamalwa who defected from UDA a month ago was received in Jubilee last Friday by Director of elections Kanini Kega after presenting his papers for nominations.
Jubilee also received former Trans Nzoia CEC Susan Nelima and politician Esther Koli who are both vying for women representative position.
Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny is optimistic the party will get the majority seats in Trans Nzoia.
“We have many aspirants who submitted their papers in most electoral areas across the country, including my home county of Trans Nzoia, we will ensure we get majority of seats “said Kuttuny.
Kuttuny is expected to win back his seat for the third time in Cherangany.

“This time round, the race is going to be between Wanyonyi as Kenya kwanza candidate and myself in Azimio under Jubilee ticket, I am ready to become next MP for Kwanza”said Wamalwa.
