Kiminini Youth endorse Walubuka to succeed Chris Wamalwa in 2022
Kiminini Youth led by youth leader Eliud Imbai have endorsed Martin Walubuka for Kiminini parliamentary seat in 2022.
They said the youthful aspirant has helped churches and contributed positively to Education in the area.
They want him to succeed area MP Chris Wamalwa who will be vying for the Governor’s seat.
While addressing residents of Kiminini, the youths said they will rally behind Walubuka and will oppose all other candidates.
Walubuka on his part asked Governors to accept the shs 316 billion they have been allocated by the National Government.
“Already, there are issues with accountability in utilizing what they have. Let them always use money well before demanding more “he said.
Governors and Senators want County allocation increased to shs 335 billion- a move that has been opposed by MP’s.
MP’s have approved shs 316 billion.
Walubuka has also opposed the punguza mzigo initiative saying instead of reducing the burden, it is meant to reduce Representation.
The Akuru Aukot initiative among other issues wants the number of MPs reduced from the current 290 elected members to only two MPs per County.
