Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi and Trans Nzoia women rep Janet Nangabo were involved in a phone altercation over 2022 elections.
Despite the elections being three years away, Wanyonyi wants Nangabo to stop touring his constituency and seeking support from wananchi.
Nangabo wants to be the Trans Nzoia County Governor.
On the other hand, Nangabo wants Wanyonyi to stop touring the County in the company of Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa who wants to be Trans Nzoia Governor in 2022.
Nangabo claims Wamalwa is her competitor and she has been asking politicians from the region not to support hi.
“Why are you always crisscrossing my constituency with some boys who are opposing my leadership?”, Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi asked women representative Janet Nangabo on phone.
Wanyonyi asked Nangabo in reference to the recent visit of the women representative at the dilapidated Bidii Primary school in Kwanza which is in bad condition.
During the visit, Nangabo was with MCA Emmanuel Waswa who has been criticizing Wanyonyi’s leadership.
All classrooms at Bidii Primary school have cracks and might be condemned by the County Public works department.
“You have also been crisscrossing the county with my 2022 Gubernatorial competitor Chris Wamalwa and I have not complained about it” Nangabo replied to Wanyonyi in the phone conversation that lasted for three minutes.
Both Wamalwa and Nangabo have declared interest to succeed Governor Patrick Khaemba in 2022.
Waswa is also campaigning for Nangulu Sakari who wants to oust Wanyonyi in the forthcoming Ford Kenya elections.
Sakari wants to be Trans Nzoia party chairman in the party elections which are slated for May 25, a move that has angered Wanyonyi.
Wamalwa however wants Wanyonyi to retain the seat so that he can help him in his bid to become the Party’s Secretary General.
The Kiminini MP will battle it out with Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu who wants to retain his seat.
As the politicians engage in altercations, there seems to be no solution to the problems bedeviling Bidii Primary school. The School is in Kwanza Constituency, former Kitale Municipality. It’s located in a swampy area. It has a population of more than 400 pupils. All structures have cracks and this is dangerous to the learners and teachers.
