Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa has threatened School principals who defy the fee guidelines as per the Ministry of Education in his constituency of dire consequences.
He said he will work with TSC to transfer, discipline and possibly sack such Teachers.
Reacting to complaints from Parents and Media reports over exaggerated fee structures, he warned School Principals against exorbitant fee increment.
Wamalwa directed area schools not to send form fours home over lack of school fees.
He asked the School Principals to always consult his CDF on getting the way forward on how the fees should be paid.
He said the Government banned fundraising in schools and teachers must adhere to the directive.
The vocal member of Parliament made the sentiments at Kikwameti primary school in his constituency.
The MP also visited numerous schools where he opened classrooms, dormitories and handed over cash for new school projects.
He also warned headteachers against misappropriation of public funds and told those whose schools will not register good grades that they will “try their luck in other constituencies”
“This money that my CDF is issuing belongs to the public, therefore the money must be used well,” Wamalwa insisted.
The MP is eyeing Trans Nzoia Governorship and asked the Government to obey the court order and allow lawyer Miguna Miguna into the country.
“Anybody becomes a citizen by birth and according to the bill of rights, Miguna is a Kenyan” added Wamalwa.
He said Kenya is not a banana republic and that the Government must obey the court ruling.
Wamalwa asked Trans Nzoia residents to vote for him as their Governor in 2022 after the term of the current Governor Patrick Khaemba comes to an end.
