Moses Wetangula’s faction of Ford Kenya has dismissed its rivals calls for a National Delegates Conference.
In a newspaper advert on Saturday 9th October 2021, the rival’s faction Secretary General David Eseli said “notice is hereby given for the meeting of the national Delegates Congress (NDC) on 6th November 2021 at 9 am at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, Nairobi”
Eseli said the agenda of the meeting will be, preliminaries, adoption of agenda, approval of previous minutes, NDC 2011, ratification of General Council resolutions 2016, election of National officials, acceptance speeches and any other business.
Ford Kenya National Organizing Secretary Chris Mandu Mandu said Eseli is on suspension and is acting in contempt of Court.
Mandu said the party will take legal action against the Eseli faction and use all means to stop the NDC.
“We call on our members to remain clam. There is nothing like an NDC and election of officials. Our members should not be bothered with that and we will deal with it,” he said.
He added that the Party is firmly in the One Kenya Alliance.
