It will be difficult for Deputy President William Ruto to be elected President in 2022.
Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny has warned.
Kuttuny warned that Ruto may not be elected the President because he has fallen out with supporters of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Ruto does not respect President Uhuru or former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The Deputy President should kneel before the two leaders if he wants to occupy State house,”
“Raila Odinga has got a sharp mouth with a mass of people across the country while president Uhuru has money, if Ruto ignores the two, he is the one to lose,” Kuttuny said.
The former president Uhuru’s adviser was addressing hundreds of locals, parents, teachers and students of Kesogon secondary school in his constituency.
“If you can’t control your lose tongue over the two leaders Bwana Ruto you will see statehouse in Viu Sasa”he said.
He told off Ruto over his frequent reminder to President Uhuru over the 2013 political deal that would see Uhuru endorse Ruto after he retires.
“In politics, you don’t remind someone about the past, you also don’t spoil others chances” Kuttuny said.
Kuttuny said the sh.1.8 billion maize importations would have benefitted an individual at a rate of sh.1000 per bag and the maize stock would have lasted for four years.
“This means the government would have lacked the capacity to purchase maize in the next four years “he added.
The MP claimed that agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri with his PS illegally withdrew money without an okay from the Strategic Grain Reserve.
He said the EACC must investigate the maize saga.
