Saboti constituency office manager and a Kitale clergy are among five people who were injured after a car they were traveling in rolled several times.
Luke Naibei (Manager), Pastor Stephen Mburu, Saboti office security officer Moses Mutange and staff members Ephraim Masilikani and John Ngeywa were involved in the accident that happened at Intex area.
They were accompanying area MP Caleb Amisi for a function in the constituency.
According to Naibei’s close ally Timothy Kiprop, the accident occurred at around 12PM.
He said the driver Stephen Mburu lost control of the TX Prado , registration number KAN 675R and the car rolled three times.
“It was an unfortunate incident. But we thank God they came out alive,” Kiprop said.
The five were treated at Saboti Health center before being rushed to Kitale Referral Hospital for further treatment.
All of them were later discharged on Friday evening after Doctors confirmed they are in a stable condition.
