There is need for the government to use all available mechanisms to rescue Cuban Doctors who were abducted in Mandera.
Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa has said.
On Friday, two Cuban Doctors were abducted by suspected Alshaabab terrorists.
Addressing mourners at Wiyeta village in the neighboring Cherangany constituency on Saturday, Wamalwa said President Uhuru Kenyatta should direct all forces to rescue the two doctors.
“Imagine these doctors googled and knew how such an area of North Eastern is dangerous! But they accepted to work in those tough conditions, there is need for the President to stand firm as chairman of the security council in the country to ensure the doctors are safe” Wamalwa said.
Wamalwa was with West Pokot women representative Lillian Tomtom, Saboti MCA David Kapoloman, politicians Rodgers Barasa,Benson Milimo, Joseph Pepela and Susan Nakhumicha.
Wamalwa asked residents to elect him in 2022 as Trans Nzoia Governor.
He said his good performance in Kiminini makes him the best candidate to succeed Governor Patrick Khaemba.
