Eliud Owalo, a management consultant and at one time the Chairperson of the lobby group Friends of Raila , has mourned Kibra MP Ken Okoth who died on Friday.
Owalo told Hot News it’s regrettable to learn of and come to terms with the untimely demise of Kibra MP, Ken Okoth.
“I vividly remember the Campaigns for the 2017 Kibra Parliamentary elections in which Ken and I were pitted against each other in the initial stages,”
“We both ran an issue-oriented and mature campaign devoid of name-calling and personal vendetta. Ken’s passion for matters education was not only appealing but also unparalleled,” he said.
Owalo said he was deeply saddened by Ken’s death.
“At this moment of grief, I join Ken’s family and the Kibra community in mourning perhaps one of the most dedicated and industrious legislators Kenya has produced within the past decade,” he said.
Okoth died on Friday of Colon cancer.
