Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has said that if anything bad happens to him, the Government should be held accountable.
Speaking in Nakuru, the MP said he is being victimized for being a supporter of the Deputy President William Ruto.
He said recently, he spoke about the troubles facing DP William Ruto and was summoned by the DCI over the remarks.
“I simply asked why William Ruto was ejected from the DP’s official residence in Mombasa. That story was carried out by the Daily Nation. Instead of them questioning Daily Nation, they summon me for questioning,” he said.
Ngunjiri added that Kalenjins feel bad with the way the DP is being treated.
He said the Kalenjin community has maintained its cool.
“If we Kikuyus hear that Uhuru has been locked out of State House, we will react. It will not be in a good way,” he said.
Ngunjiri added that his firearm licenses have been revoked and he has been ordered to surrender his guns to the police for ballistic examination.
He said he has been a firearm holder since 1992 and has never misused his guns.
“Recently, there was a probox trailing me. I and my bodyguard reported he mater at Bahati Police Station. The OCS, OCPD and the whole Police force knows about it. However, nothing has been done,” he said.
The MP added that sometimes back, armed men stormed his home and captured a security guard forcing him to reveal his whereabouts.
He said he fears for his life and that he is being targeted because he supports DP William Ruto.
