On his facebook, Mbugua also called on the public to support police officers
He said police officers work day and night to ensure everyone is safe.
“As we continue
praising our shepherd and celebrating the current peaceful environment in most parts of the country, we must also appreciate our men and women in uniform that have always been working day and night to keep the situation a reality. We therefore ask the public to support our men and women in uniform to realize their call of duty,” Mbugua said.
Mbugua who is in charge of the Kenya Police Service also said the national police service is in top gear in the implementation of the long awaited reforms.
He said the reforms entail bringing on board a good number of administration police officers to general duties under national police department.
“Kenyans should expect more from the service,” he said.
Mbugua who has at least 4,997 facebook friends was praised by several facebook fans for “the good job he is doing”.
