Kenya Institute of Management students and the Administration have agreed to iron out their differences.
On Monday, the students had vowed to take to the streets and protests what they called was “extortion” from the administration.
However, the students told Hot News that the management has agreed to address their grievances.
The students halted a strike they had planned for Tuesday.
A student who requested anonymity said they had met the institutions Executive Director Muriithi Ndegwa.
The student said Peter Njoroge who was the KIM head- Nairobi branch has been replaced by the regional manager Nicholas Engoke.
KIM students had accused Njoroge of extortion and intimidating staff.
They claimed Njoroge was asking for at least shs 3,000 before releasing exam results to students.
Njoroge never responded to the allegations when Hot News tried to reach to him
He did not answer text messages send to his phone nor did he pick calls.
The students also accused Njoroge of assaulting a female student who had gone for her results.
It’s said the female student refused to part with the bribe and a scuffle ensued.
The students said they had agreed with the management to keep the issues out of the Media and the Public.
