Majority Leader in Parliament Aden Duale has said some of the Jubilee members are not squatters in the Party.
Duale said he does not wish to focus nor comment on the changes in the Senate but if the Party’s big Boys decide to make changes in Parliament, he is alert.
“I can only speak for the National Assembly when that time reaches. As a founder member and shareholder of the Jubilee party and one who has delivered on the mandate of the office in accordance with article 108, am not a squatter or guest of anyone in jubilee,” he said.
He said Jubilee is the largest party in the country and will be managed in accordance with the party constitution, standing orders, political party act and the constitution of Kenya.
In the changes in the Senate, West Pokot Senator Samuel Poghisio has been appointed the new Senate Majority leader.
The changes were made following a Jubilee Coalition Senate Parliamentary Group Meeting on Monday.
It was chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo Adan will deputize Poghisio.
Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata has replaced Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika as the Majority Chief Whip.
Kang’ata will be deputized by Wajir nominated senator Farhiya Ali Haji.
The changes have angered deputy President William Rutos allies who insist they are in Jubilee to stay.
