Professor Edward Kisiangani has pledged to work with President William Ruto and ensure he delivers on his promises.
In a brief statement, Kisiangani thanked the President for picking him among the 51 individuals he wants to oversee state departments.
His statement comes hours after the president nominated him as Principal Secretary, State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications
He added that he will serve Ruto with loyalty.
“I take this earliest opportunity to thank H.E President William Ruto for nominating me, for consideration by Parliament, to the position of Principal Secretary in the State Dept. of Broadcasting and Telecommunication. I pledge to serve with dedication and loyalty, “he said.
He will serve under the ministry of Information, Communication and Digital Economy which is led by CS Eliud Owalo.
Kisiangani backed the William Ruto administration in the run up to the August 9 General election.
