Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo has told President Uhuru Kenyatta that opposition MPs are behind him in the war against corruption.
Elisha asked the president not to relent in the fight against corruption adding that if he relents, “his legacy is at stake”.
He was speaking at Jera in Ugenya during a rally.
In attendance were EAC MP Oburu Odinga , Siaya Senator James Orengo, Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi and Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi .
“I am sending a strong warning to the architect of corruption William Ruto that he should not test the patience of parliament by his unending politicization of the war on graft. I urge the President to remain firm because our support and resilience is undying.” Odhiambo said.
He said DP Ruto’s allies have been bundled out of office because of corruption.
“ItS Rutos allies who were in office when money was embezzled at Kenya Power, Kenya Pipeline and at Arror and Kimwarer dams,” he said.
Odhiambo also questioned why Weston hotel remained standing in the wake of demolitions of properties built on riparian areas and public land.
